There are so many creative ways to tell your mom how much you appreciate her. For my mom, she’s soo hard to shop for. Last year I did a couple posts on DIY projects for moms and I posted my newest one last week: a fun DIY Spring Tote bag.
This year, I’m actually sending her on a scavenger hunt “scavenger hunt” gift of Mother’s Day cards; each card I send her has a special clue that leads to a gift. Here’s a little pic by pic explanation
Then, I wrote a “clue” inside each one with directions of where to find the special gift. They were all under $5 and represent something about my mom.
She’s not great at taking time for herself, so I wanted to include a couple indulge gifts. For me and her, that’s a magazine!
I also loved the idea of including something she could stash in her purse do be a daily reminder of us and how much we love her. Her favorite candy is Starburst and she hasn’t ever tried EOS chapstick.
She loves scarves and this fun, knit, infinity scarf is the perfect complement to any outfit.
Have you already purchased something for your mom? What’s your favorite Mother’s Day tradition?
