Easy Frozen Party Decor

DECOR
My baby is 4! How in the heck did that happen? She requested a FROZEN themed party {surprise!} and I decided if I was going to do it I was going to go all out. I’ve always love the design aspect behind party/event planning, but the actual doing is a little overwhelming. With that in mind, I worked hard to make something unique, but still totally FROZEN. I’m proud to say I think I’ve put together a totally doable party that is sure to please girls of all ages!

We sent Frozen invitations and told the girls to come ready for “coronation day”

 After all the girls arrived, we got them ready for their coronation! Each girl got to decorate a lace crown and make a chunky bubblegum necklace. {video tutorials to come!}

 After the coronation, we played with snowmen

As they crafted, the girls snacked away on Melted Snow, Olaf Noses, Kristoff’s Ice Blocks and Snowflake Cupcakes. {More info on food to come!} All of the beautiful printables were designed by Jen from My Fabuless Life. Available here!
Carissa Miss: Easy FROZEN Party DecorThe backdrop looks so simple and yet it was a ton of work! All those snowflakes were carefully hand-cut by yours truly. I printed some templates and then made up some of my own. There are 8 snowflakes per strand and I just sewed them together on my sewing machine. The fringe is just cheap crepe paper cut on either side, inspired by this tutorial. Glitter snowflake ornaments and sequin ribbon are on the ends and of course, my DIY striped curtains match perfectly. {I’ve actually never blogged about them but they were super cheap and easy! I tried painting my own version, but decided sewing was better.} I also made a Tissue Paper Tassel Garland and strung it up with bakers twine.

I also made the 3-tier cupcake stand using this tutorial but you can also buy the cutest one here for only $13, about the same cost as it was to make mine!

The paper goods are all from Party Pail and the confetti and fake snow are Darice.

At the end of the party, the girls ate their Elsa LolliPics on the front porch.

I designed these personalized LolliPics with a non-copyrighted image of Elsa that I found here. They are white opaque, toasted marshmallow and blue opaque, raspberry.

The kids loved that they could lick Elsa’s face right off the lollipop. Although on the priceyer side, they shipped quickly and all arrived safely. No cracks or broken lollipops! The image quality was amazing! For gourmet lollipops these are definitely your best bet.
